Getting to Know Us: the MendoFutures Operations Team

Julia Kendrick Conway

Current Work: Entrepreneur/owner of Assaggiare Mendocino, a food advocacy, events and catering company and partner in Stella Cadente, a local olive oil producer. I returned home to Mendocino County after 25+ years in sales and marketing management in Silicon Valley.

Passion: To share the art of enjoying food to its fullest potential with others. This teaching takes many forms, whether I am giving classes in my teaching kitchen, helping with the harvest of the olives at Stella Cadente, or planning and executing events in the vineyards of the Anderson Valley. Whatever the form, I enjoy teaching most when I am able to connect people with the local foods of Mendocino County and the incredible bounty of what our area offers; reconnecting them to their own culture and community.
